GREETING

Message from the Director

We listen carefully to your symptoms and concerns, then explain the examinations and next steps that may be appropriate.

A local clinic in Azabu-Juban

Since opening in January 2014, the clinic has provided general internal medicine, lifestyle-related disease care, gastroenterology, hepatology, allergy care, health screening and endoscopy. We help patients understand what the clinic can assess and when specialist hospital care is more appropriate.

Treatment, prevention and future health

The clinic values not only diagnosis and treatment but also prevention, health screening and healthy longevity. As a board-certified specialist of the Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Medicine, the director applies this perspective to everyday care. Detailed self-pay services are presented separately from insured care.

Clinical background

After graduating from Keio University School of Medicine, the director worked in university and community hospitals, conducted research at the University of Texas, served in leadership roles in internal medicine and gastroenterology, and later worked in gastroenterology at the National Hospital Organization Tokyo Medical Center.

Lessons carried forward from senior physicians

Through work in the Department of Gastroenterology at Keio University and its affiliated hospitals, the director developed experience in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. He worked with Dr. Yoshikazu Yonei, a senior colleague from Keio University, at Nippon Kokan Hospital and continues academic exchange with him in anti-aging medicine. The clinic also values the principle of coordinated community care shared by Dr. Makoto Takagi: clinics and hospitals should fulfill complementary roles. When specialized testing or inpatient treatment is needed, the clinic arranges referral according to each patient's condition.
